WATCH: Transgender woman pulls out rock, dares anti-LGBT Shreveport city councilman to stone her

A month after the Shreveport City Council banned anti-LGBT discrimination, the lone member who voted against the ordinance introduced a proposal to overturn it on Tuesday night.

But Councilman Ron Webb withdrew his proposal after hearing from dozens of people who spoke in support of the city’s new Fairness Ordinance. Among them was transgender woman Pamela Raintree, above, who read from the Bible before pulling out a rock and daring Webb to stone her.

“Leviticus 20:13 states, ‘If a man also lie with mankind as he lieth with a woman, they shall surely put him to death,'” Raintree said. “I brought the first stone, Mr. Webb, in case that your Bible talk isn’t just a smoke screen for personal prejudices.”
